Not every individual home needs a higher asking price. Sometimes it simply needs a different approach to how it is presented, positioned and brought to market.
Letchworth has some brilliant homes.
Period houses, beautifully renovated properties, homes with unusual architecture, exceptional plots and houses with genuine history and character.
And while price is obviously part of any property conversation, we don’t think price alone is what determines whether a home deserves a different approach to marketing.
Sometimes there is simply more to say. That is where By Design Homes comes in.
For us, By Design isn’t about putting a premium badge on an expensive property. It is about recognising when a home needs a little more thought around the way it is presented, positioned and introduced to the market.
Because good marketing should do more than tell somebody how many bedrooms a house has. It should help a potential buyer understand what makes that particular home interesting.
That may be the architecture. It may be the garden or plot. It may be the history of the property, the way it has been renovated, the lifestyle it offers or a feature that simply makes somebody stop and look twice. The job then is to work out how best to tell that story.
Photography and film are part of that, of course, but so are the words, the launch strategy, the audience we are trying to reach and the way interest is managed once buyers start engaging with the property.
Ultimately, buyers decide what a home is worth to them. The marketing cannot manufacture value that isn’t there, but it can have a real influence on whether the right people notice a property, understand it and become emotionally invested in owning it.
