🎉 Baldock Community Fireworks 2025 – Record Success! 🎉

This year’s Fireworks Display, held on Saturday 8th November, was a roaring success, welcoming over 3,500 people, and Leysbrook was delighted to again be the principal sponsor again for 2025.  The Committee team were delighted to announce at the weekend that the event raised an incredible £10,000 through ticket sales and activities on the night for donation to local good causes.

A broad spectrum of local good causes have received support from these funds, including: Lister Hospital’s Maternity Garden, Kaotic Angels, Stand By Me, Citizen’s Advice, Bassingbourn Cadets, Baldock Beer Festival, Baldock Allotments – BALGA, Baldock Brownies and Scouts, Baldock Library, Karen Stephens’ Christmas Hamper Appeal, and Hartsfield School as host.

Even better, there were also lots of charities, groups and schools that were fundraising also on the night, so the total figure generated on 8th November is over £18,000, which is just amazing!  Well done to Letchworth Rugby Club’s Under 12s (BBQ), Hartsfield School (Licensed Bar and Flashing Novelties), St John’s Parent Association (Hot drinks and cakes), St Mary’s Junior School (Mulled Wine), the Baldock Brownies and the RSPB.

This achievement is thanks to everyone who came along, supported, performed, loaned kit, served customers and helped make the evening such a success, THANK YOU! 🙌
